xAyanex
Slightly outdated topic (2008), same question: http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/169942-what-should-i-feed-my-clownfish/ More outdated (2002): http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/6390-what-do-you-feed-your-clown-fish/ A thread from the Reef Tank (2008): http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/f6/what-do-you-feed-your-clownfish-114643.html A thread from Living Reefs (2009): http://www.livingreefs.com/threads/how-much-do-i-feed-a-clownfish.21239/ A quick google search and you'll see the same brand names over and over. I doubt it's changed that much in the last few years. Link to comment

SaltwaterShoup
I feed mine Spirulina flakes and mysis shrimp, he couldn't be happier! Link to comment
mosquared
I'm a big fan of TDO Chromaboost. Unfortunately the shipping is super expensive ... Number 2 would have to be SA Hatchery Diet. You can buy from bulk reef supply with free shipping. Link to comment
NYfishies
Pellets for breakfast Frozen for dinner On weekends they get brunch Does your Clownfish also prefer Mimosa's over Bloody Mary's? I am so glad mine do because they always get too drunk at brunch on Saturday and as a result I get to finish their bottomless drink special! Link to comment
ANEMONEMAN
Well feeding clown is not big problem But feeding breaks are most important Minerals, vitamins will keep them in survivor mode Makes them aggressive That's nice They are best with dead insects power Pure veg are pillets bores them Sook pillets in coral food juice then introduce in water for your clown Dead food is best Dried There liver and other organs are week keep them on by less lights Like 8 hours off with break for food Less food more exercise Temperature 72 Celsius is nice heaters kill them beware Link to comment
Bamzam
For those feeding NLS pellets, about how many do your clowns eat at feeding time? Mine are still very young, but I'm having to break the pellets in half in order for them to even try eating them. Even after I break it in half, sometimes the piece is still a little too big and my clowns won't even attempt to eat it. That being said I don't think they eat more than 2 or 3 full pellets in one feeding. I'm trying to balance feeding enough with not having much leftover food...but compared to the way my freshwater fish eat, this just doesn't seem like enough food. Link to comment
holy carp
Ha. My little guy used to do this with the NLS pellets that I fed to the bigger clown. I always put some little Hatchery Diets pellets in for him. They're tiny enough for the little ones. I had him 6 months before he could eat those pellets, and he still plays around with them. CronicReefer
I feed only LRS Reef Frenzy everyday usually twice a day. All the fish love it, even the algae eaters. Link to comment
