Andy73
Hi, I just watched my euphyllia divisa release some polyps, and still has some more to go. I assume that this is a form of reproduction and I was wondering if it is a good thing or a bad thing that the coral is doing this? The released pieces are only about 4mm (0,15748 inche) in size. And, what is the best way to care for these so they can get a start? euphyllia divisa bailout euphyllia divisa bailout Link to comment
ReefWeeds
If your euphyllia is bailing polyps, it's not happy (too much light, too much flow, something). Generally polyps bailing isn't a good sign. Did the whole polyp bail off the skeleton? Link to comment
Andy73
no, it has just released the 2 small pieces in the photo. They are like tiny baby Euphyllia, and just floated away from the main body. Link to comment
