hey guys and gals.

i have a 10gallon reef with a aqua clear 70. koralia nano powerhead, ai prime light, 12lbs of live rock and 10lbs of sand

- i have had much better luck this time around so yay!

xenia died pretty much instantly in this tank but after removing the dead pieces.. i have found one small stem pulsing away in the sand so hoping the colony grows back :)

heres what is going on in there at the moment:

purple mushroom

small patch of gsp

zoa cluster rock wonder if someone can id them if i post more pictures of them up close??

3 head frogsp awn

3 turbo snails (due to recommendation from store.. reading more and looks like way to many for a 10!!)

couple hermit crabs wondering around in there as well as a brittle star

2 clowns

i would like to add a hammer coral and a torch possibly..then maybe a plate or brain...

thoughts...?

3 snails for a 10g isn't too much. You don't want too many to start if there is no algae to eat but as the tank matures you may want more.

In my 10g I have 3 nassarius, 3 trochus, 2 trochus in back chambers, and about 5 hermits.

In my 15g i have 3 nassarius, 1 nocturnal snail, 4-5 trochus, pom pom crab, and 5 hermits.

Torch corals are beautiful but take into account they have 6-7inch sweeper tenticles that can/will sting neighbouring corals.

figured.. might return 2 of these mexican turbo snails i don't want any deaths due to lack of food.. i have been supplementing them with an algae wafer just as a precaution.

hoping to put the torch far left side away from everything else..... i had a question about euphilya can frogspawn and hammer corals be touching each other i would love a lps dominated 10gallon with hammers and frogspawns of different colour varieties
