devonmessick
Hey! I have a biocube 14. I currently have all stock lights including the white LED lights that were added to the open slot. Are the LED lights strong enough for the corals to grow? We currently have a few mushrooms, Green Star Plops, Duncans, Pipe Organ and a two small Zoas. With the temperature getting warmer out, we have noticed that our water temp has been right around 80" the past few days. We typically run our florescent lights all the time and LEDs some times. If the LED lights are strong enough it will help reduce the temperature, however, I don't want to lose any coral. Are there any fans that I could add to my biocube to keep it running cooler if I need to keep the florescent lights on during the day? Thanks!!! Link to comment
StevieT
No, aesthetic only. 80 is fine, consistency is key. If it gets a few degrees higher a small fan blowing on the waters surface either in the display or chamber will bring it down. Link to comment
