tsouth
Be sure to dip everything coming into your tank. Don't make this mistake! There are many products out there, most popularly is Bayer. I personally use melafix. Link to comment

Clown79
I hadn't added anything in my tank for 3 mnths when they appeared-still no clue how they got in. I dip everything, I highly recommend it. Actually I purchased a coral recently and it had a few on them(not seen upon purchase nor in the tank...these guts cam be hard to see)-they didn't react to the coral dip but they did to freshwater dip. Some ppl use flatworm exit as a dip Flatworms if left will reproduce rapidly-thats when its a problem because they cover the corals at that point. If one gets flatworms-start working on getting rid of them while the quantities are small. When they die, they release toxins which can become deadly in the tank. Its very important to remove them when they die Link to comment
jcreefer
I had a bout with flatworms last year as well. Disgusting to say the least. Used Flatworm Exit and follow the instructions. Pay attention to the use of carbon immediately afterwards to counter released toxin. It's a bit sad now that I know what they look like. The last few times I went to the Cal Academt of science, some of the tanks were infested with flatworms. Yikes!!! Link to comment
