Aquamaxx Rimless Low Iron Tank Review

I just ordered the 16" cube aquamaxx from marine depot to use as a sump. I thought it was worth sharing that the quality is great. No visible silicone and the glass is nice. I've decided to order the 33 gallon cube for my display since I am so pleased with the quality. Hope this helps those of you who are on the fence.

This is the only pot I have for now. Obviously, they are new, but I can vouch for aesthetics for sure.

I'm going to guess based on that pic that the tank chosen fit the dimensions he needed and happened to be a low iron tank.

Ya. It was the largest possible tank I could fit in there and the only 16" cube I could find. It was about $100. I couldn't even fit a standard 10 gallon in there since the space is only 17" deep.

 

Since the tank was so nice, I cancelled my order for an 18" marineland and ordered the 19.7" aquamaxx cube for display.

 

My current tank is 11 gallon CAD Lights zen and I would say the aquamaxx is at least as good, if not better quality.
