ps2cho
Just got an odd tingling feeling in my fingers so I removed them...then touched the water again and got zapped! Removed each power cord til it stopped and found it was the pump. It no longer spins so I assume the motor seized? GFCI didn't trip and I was concerned, but I think a Korelia pump doesn't put out many watts so likely the current was too small for the GFCI to get it? If you don't have a GFCI take it from me even this small zap was enough to remind me it's no joke! Imagine if it was a 500w heater versus a 9w pump!! Link to comment

I've never had an issue with my koralias in the time that I ran them. Contact Hydor and let them know what happened and they will likely send you replacements free of cost Link to comment
ps2cho
The pumps pretty old now and out of warranty, it's probably not worth the time. I also cut the cord off so I didn't have to remove all the wiring I ran nicely... Going to replace it with a tunze 6025. Probably a lot for a sump pump to keep detritus from settling but much higher quality and likely will last forever. Link to comment
Matteo
I had an old t5 light fall in the tank while my hands where in it. I was wearing rubbing gloves though but still hahaha. Yo tunze 6020 discreet FTW. Only like 40 bucks amazon prime and it has a super profile. If anything just buy a cheap 20 dollar pump if that's why you want it. Link to comment
