My clown seems very healthy and eats well, but he constantly circles the top of the tank. He goes around the top all day. I feel like maybe he's having fun, but not sure. It seems like in one area he likes riding the current from the powerhead. Is this behavior normal (circle the top of the tank)? Oh, and he is a young tank raised oscellaris clown. He is probably about one inch long. Link to comment
drgibby Posted May 2, 2016 Share Posted May 2, 2016 Mine also seem to explore just one corner of the tank. From what ive heard from others this is normal behavior. When i turn the powerhead off he seems to explore more of the tank. I wouldn't worry about it from what ive seen and heard. Clowns are funny Link to comment

I notcied you have a 20 gallon long tank. I also have one. I have one powerhead, which is what was recommended to me at the store. Do you think this is okay? It's a jebbaeo pp4. I love that my clowns flirt with me and the moment I open the hood they come up and play!! Best fish ever ;-) Link to comment
