uwphoto
Would like an ID of this delicate branching SPS. I have had it for ~5 weeks and I am not sure if the white tips are growth areas or receding polyps. Any thoughts? The multiple branches have kept their excellent green color. (Sorry for the grab shots.) Link to comment
Littlesardines
Looks like pocillopora to me, the white tips are growth. Link to comment
uwphoto
Thanks, Most of the pocilloporas I looked at were more stout with thick branches and broad base. The above coral is very delicate with thin branching arms and no base, easily broken. I'm glad that it is growing, as other SPS in the tank seem to be doing well. Link to comment
