29g Frag tank...overflow size?

Hey guys,

 

I want to do a single pipe overflow for my frag tank.

 

What size should I go for to make sure it's safe enough? 1"? 1 1/2"?

Or is it still necessary to have an emergency?

1.5inches is always the way to go. Is this a standard 29g? Odd shape for a frag tank. You could always do a 1 inch emergency overflow but I don't think it's crucial.

Well it's the same as a 20L except I get a little extra volume to help with stability. My LED is powerful enough so lighting won't be a problem.
