Hello all,

Finally got my new Innovative Marine NUVO 20. omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg

Equipment:

IM Nuvo 20

Stock filter socks

100 watt heater

Cobalt MJ1200 pump

MP 10w

Lighting:

AquaMaxx NemoLight 24-36 Inch 36 watt

Plans:

I plan to put a decent amount of rock in this tank and will be updating with the layout. Mostly going to do soft corals (zoas, LPS, and GSP). Clownfish pair and other small fishes as well.

Some pics for the beginning:

This weekend will bring most of the preliminary stuff (water, sand, and rock). Then the cycle begins! I'm open to all opinions and tips and tricks to help me through this process. Thanks all and enjoy.

New heater and thermometer arrived today! Any tips on best locations for the heater? I've heard best location is in the return pump compartment.

Yeah, figured I try them out. Haven't heard anything bad about this company yet and they are cheap. Win win lol

I don't think it matters where you put it. I have mine in the return pump compartment since I have a makeshift refugium in the second compartment, but perviously had the heater there.

Wow, your set up looks nice already, even with no water in it! Great start.
