ClownfishReefer
I have my tank running about a year and a half now, however, from my previous tank, i have a piece of live rock that has been dried out for months... can i throw that piece back in my tank and have no negative effects? petolo
You'd probably wanna cure it just in case, you don't know how much dead stuff is hiding in there, or if there is anything that might throw your tank out of whack Link to comment
Matteo
No need to cure. Just boil it then soak in rodi water boil again then soak and rinse a couple times and you should be fine Link to comment
SantaMonica
Boiling or soaking in RO will not remove the nutrients from the rock. Will take acid to do that. If the rock is small compared to the current rock, then you could just put it in. Link to comment
