DudE31
Hey everyone, I am going to be moving this upcoming weekend and I am trying to create a plan of attack and could use some input. I have moved fowlr tanks before, but this time I am moving my reef. I am moving in town, only about ten minutes away so I don't think I have to worry about to drastic of a temperature drop over such a short distance. My main concern is my corals. I have some SPS frags that are in the sand bed and was hoping to just bag these up and place them in a bucket of tank water for the journey. I was going to bag my fish as well and place the live rock in a 5g bucket ( I have some SPS that has encrusted this rock so not much I can do). As far as that goes I think everything will be fine. I am going to move everything in one shot and try to get it back up ASAP. My main concern is with my wall hammer. Its about the size of a soft ball and I don't think it will fit into a bag. I was thinking maybe transferring it in a large Tupperware full of tank water. If anyone can share some advice or ways to improve this plan it would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment
SunWyrm
It sounds like a great plan to me. Good luck with the move! Link to comment
Clown79
You can bag or tupperware the corals and put the rocks in a bucket. Since you're moving in town there shouldn't be too many issues. Link to comment
