Interesting Zoa Reaction, Expelling Pigment Possibly

I thought this was really interesting and cool. Thought I would share and see if anyone else had this happen. I was cleaning my rocks with a toothbrush soaked in peroxide a little bit ago and the zoas closed up for a day and when they opened they had pigment goo stuff on their skirts. Now they have a hint of red on their tentacles. Very strange.

The goo is gone now and just a hint of red stayed on the skirt. They are still healthy.

Typically I just see the brown stuff that comes out of the mouth. Never saw this before. I agree that its the pigmented algae. Really interesting to me at least.
