Seems to me that maybe you should not keep that type of goby if they repeatedly die off. Maybe try something a little more hearty...

That's definitely true. I just really fell in love with them. I think I may try them again in the future, in a 5g or 2.5g tank where I can monitor my pair daily.

 

I'm actually going over a few fish to put in the 20g now. Thinking a Royal Gramma and a Geometric Pygmy Perchlet. I actually recommended them to someone on reddit and it got me thinking of my own tank.

I lost quite a bit of grape caulerpa. Looks like after the fern went sexual the grape went as well. Though it looks like this brown algae has taken over! Looks nice too!

Time for an update. 20g is all taken down and the 29g is doing very well.
