Clown79
I'm sure this has been asked before but I have a few questions. I somehow got flatworms in my tank. I check all the tanks I buy from thoroughly and I spend quite some time looking over the corals before purchasing. I dip everything before its added. Not sure how I got them because they showed up months after not purchasing anything. I manually removed them because they were on the glass and very small, not a large number of them. I had no signs for 3 weeks of any flatworms...bam the little ones are back and I have a few big ones too. They aren't on any coral besides my xenia. I don't want to treat my dt but a wrasse in a 10g is not an option, neither is a mandarin. I hear flatworm exit can be safe if you get to the flatworms when the numbers are not high, you syphon them out, do water change and run carbon. Is there any other option besides flatworn exit or wrasse? I forgot to add the specs. 10g IM 1.025 sg Temp 78 Nitrate 5-10 Ca 400 Alk 3.5 Mag 1170(started dosing ca and mag 1 week ago) Ph 8.2 1 royal dottyback 3 nassarius 3 trochus in dt 2 in chambers 4 hermits 1 frogspawn 3 xenia frags 1 dragon soul brain frag Zoas Toadstool frag 2 mushrooms Link to comment
metrokat
I've heard that prazi-pro being used to treat flat worms, it is reef safe also. Link to comment
smeagol108
Sprinters damsel I believe. Pink streaked wrasse is fine for ten gallon and used to eat the small ones I had. Link to comment
Clown79
Well i have a dottyback in there already, adding another fish would lead to issues Link to comment
ReefWeeds
What do they look like? Not all flatworms are bad.. Link to comment
