Anden Posted April 12, 2016 Share Posted April 12, 2016 I never had the controler, and i will not get the controler. I use my light manuel and i love it. But i have a maxspect celestial 35f and that light has the controler integrated and when i need a new light im not buying Kessil im buying celestial 35f or 70f i think the light is better looking(the colors). I manually turn the knob for color and intensity along with a analog timer to turn it on and off. But it is really a tedious process after two weeks I bought the controller. It will open up much more controllability for your A160! Link to comment

StevieT Posted April 13, 2016 Share Posted April 13, 2016 Controller is nice plus it's your timer and allow you to have a sunrise and sunset. Plus it's cheap. Kessil is much better than the prime. Link to comment
drexel Posted April 13, 2016 Share Posted April 13, 2016 Started off using my apex, then migrated to the controller and haven't looked back. Acclamation mode is so valuable and being able to ramp color and intensity is such a plus. I run two 160's on my nano and love 'em. Link to comment
