scotturban54
I am down two one fish in my nuvo 20, i am looking for another fish to live with my clown fish, who has killed the other clown fish and bullied pretty much everything else. I like bright colors was thinking maybe a gramma or some type or wrasse? Any other recommendations on who could hold their own. Link to comment
Fishmademepoor
Grammas are a bit shy so I wouldn't recommend them, a six line wrasse maybe? Its probably a bit small for them but they could definitely hold their own. Link to comment
Astinus
Umm, an Eel? Just kidding....Making reference to a different thread. All seriousness though...We Have a Pearly Jawfish and a Bi-color Blenny..They both have hidey holes and are rather fun to watch. Just added the Blenny Yesterday, our Percula Clown, this morn' was hanging around the Blennie's Rock Cave and wasn't bothering the Blenny. Link to comment
Tamberav
What type of clownfish? My starkii damsel has no problem standing up to bully clownfish. Gorgeous fish too. Link to comment
ndrobey
Fiji Blue Devil Damsel is a brilliant blue and lives up to its name. Link to comment
Halo_003
How about a purple dotty back? *evil grin* Link to comment
lkoechle
maybe the sixline. but my female clown chased my sixline literally out of the tank. for awhile though, the sixline was the boss and then the tables turned... Link to comment
scotturban54
Clown fish is just a standard ocelaris clownfish, I have thought about a dotty back, think that would be a good choice? Why the "evil grin" lol? Link to comment
ninjamyst
sixline or another damsel. my clown is a jackass too but he did well with a sixline and a blue damsel Link to comment

Why the "evil grin" lol? They have a reputation for being aggressive from what I've seen, it should be able to hold it's own against the clown pretty well. Link to comment
scotturban54
Is any damsel a good option or are they all equal as far as attitude and aggression goes? I like the black and white stripe ones and blue with yellow tail. Link to comment
ml86743
Damsels are usually able to hold their own, regardless of species. Link to comment
