DustnF
I have wanted one of these since I first saw a picture years ago. I got chance to get one a couple days ago and jumped at it. This guy arrived today and I figured I better get a few pictures before he disappeared in the rocks never to be seen again. He is in my 30 gallon shallow tank. Link to comment

How much was he and what are you trying to feed him? Tank size and tank mates? I have a CAD 4 he'd go in I paid $100 shipped...$100 and inch...lol. I have done a lot of reading over the years on these fish. I have gathered that they are rarely seen eating, but rarely starve. As I am sure you know, they only grow to a little over an inch and are low energy fish. From what I understand they survive mostly as scavengers picking leftovers off the sandbed and rocks. He is in my 30 gallon shallow tank. His tankmates are a Snowflake Clown, Randall's Goby and High Fin Goby that share a Randall's pistol shrimp, and a Exquisite Fire Fish. What a beautiful goby! Good luck with him, my goby managed to fit through the smallest opening in my tanks lid.. Maybe Ill get another once my new lid comes in from Smiz.. How big is he? Thanks. He is just under and inch. They do not swim in the water column and are not known jumpers. I have a lid for Smiz...he does great work. Link to comment
Elizabeth94
Interesting, mine was a yellow watchmen goby and still jumped. Not sure how he managed it, probably during the night. I felt horrible when I found him and haven't bothered with gobies since. Thanks. He is just under and inch. They do not swim in the water column and are not known jumpers. smeagol108
Had one forever. Favorite fish. Really looking for another. He got completely lost in a flatworm exit treatment a while back. Would love to find a source for them at a reasonable price. They also eat pods. Any reef food that is powdered will be eaten as well. Link to comment

Halo_003
i have a 20L sumped, like6-8 you think would work? Yeah should be fine, I do recommend QTing them all at once with a ton of hiding spots, I think mine are cyclops when I QTd them, I was never sure. Mine would all poke out of different spots and bop their dorsal fins at each other, they're really cool to keep as a group. Link to comment
