Cameron6796
I have a large glass bowl id estimate 2-4 gallons that once housed a terrarium. I want to now make it a reef bowl of some sort for some zoas and lps. . Ill need an obvious light source which can just be supplied via a par38 bulb. My major concern is just how does one outfit a bowl to support life because not many filters are designed to fit a sphere shape. Also its in my bedroom so the quieter it can be the better. jbb
It will most likely have to be treated like a vase reef . Or one of those cheap internal filters . Maybe some lily pipes / canister ? Or if you like living on the edge ... Drill it Link to comment

aviator300
What filter. Just add an airpump for water movement like Maritza the vase reef has. Link to comment
Cameron6796
was leaning towards that ^ Link to comment
pmcgarty
I had a 6 gallon glass bowl reef that I used a canister filter with. Work great for me until I upgraded to a BioCube 29. Link to comment
