ajmckay
Hi all, I've had many photo sessions with my tank over the past several months - getting a little better. No post processing at all (outside camera WB settings) except 2 of the photos are cropped in MS paint. Inspired by the many nature aquariums I love looking at New torch - auto white bal New torch adjusted white bal New RBTA Almost as difficult to shoot as my sixline... Link to comment
Marc.The.Shark
Damn, pretty good! The 1st pic is my fav. Way better than my crappy cell phone shots! Haha. Link to comment
ajmckay
Thanks Marc! Still working on it - my technique is to take like 100 pics and usually there's a few decent ones in the lot Getting the water surface perfectly still was pretty hard. Any movement I made was just enough to create a ripple. I'm still shooting by hand too. I have a tripod but it's hard to get the camera close. I'm in the process of making a sort of "leaning tripod" that I can use for coral pics. For fish? I have one finger on the shutter and the other frantically working the focus ring. Link to comment
ajmckay
Two fish are in a tank. One turns to the other and says, “Do you know how to drive this thing?” Link to comment
