I have a cannon, I have a stock lens, and I have a 100mm macro lens. I also don't know all that much about the camera and lenses. I just like taking pretty pictures. kimberbee Posted April 18, 2016 Share Posted April 18, 2016 This lens has fantastic zoom and detail... I don't know much more than that but the stock lens is 18-55mm and this is 75-300 so you can zoom in a TON and still get the same detail/quality. Thanks, I will consider this. Link to comment

I knew it wasn't a macro, but wouldn't have realized I needed to be 5+ feet away to focus. I do tend to do a lot of landscape (trees, flowers) pics, so I am thinking about it.
