skrillay0
I have white dots that always on the glass and rock. I thought it was snail eggs but it turns brown. It doesnt attach itself flat and just hangs there from a point. I think it grows into a fern like algae. Is this bryopsis? Thanks. You can see the tip of it starting to turn brown. Link to comment

Dramad1
Hand removal and tech m did the trick for me when it showed it's ugly self a while ago. Might piss some corals off for a while. I didn't lose any and I raised the levels to around 2000ppm for a few weeks, byropsis all died and I pulled and syphon ed it out. Link to comment

Dramad1
Not sure about the white dots, but that green fern looking patch in the pic looks like it might be, hard to tell. I'd remove it just to be safe, once byropsis spreads, it spreads all over, fast. The 2 lil white things on the glass could be a pinapple sponge Link to comment
skrillay0
Thats not the only patch . Its starting to appear all over my rock. Link to comment

It doesnt move but flaps around with the motion of the water because it doesn't attach completely. This is the glass |\ how it attaches. I have some margarita snails, nassarius snail, and some nerite. Link to comment

skrillay0
how long is it when it flaps around?? Like stringy? Its like a little seed that only attaches at the tip. Not stringy at all. It turns brown after a while. Link to comment

The white dots are nerite snail eggs. They turn brown after hatching, then get green algae on them. Link to comment
