Danh42 Posted February 12, 2016 Share Posted February 12, 2016 I currently have a 8 gallon biocube that i plan to move all my live stock over in another month and a half. Right now i currently have the lagoon cycling. Build List -upgraded the stock pump with a eheim compact 1000 -ai prime -mp10 -micro smart ato plans are to add two media trays and maybe a spot for some algae in the back not sure yet. Seems like most skimmers for nanos dont do well and just wet skims very light, so i wont be going with a skimmer. Heres my tank for now. Link to comment

Livestock so far is 6 Linewrasse 2 ORA Sponcinctus Huge Sunburst BTA Small Rasta BTA ORA Toadstool Over 8 different zoa polyps frags Tyree Sunset Montipora Sunburst Montipora Neon Green Star Polyps 5 Nassarius Snails, maybe adding another 3 10 Astreas Snails, getting another 10 in a few days Link to comment

Danh42 Posted March 11, 2016 Author Share Posted March 11, 2016 so heres a little update. I was able to add another mp10 and now i have them going back and forth. My friend had a eshopps skimmer laying around that i am now using. i added two media trays, but it seems like it's been holding back my water circulation? Maybe because the chemipure bag is too big? Its messing with water flow and confusing my ato and skimmer. As far as live stock goes i added a blue spot jawfis and taken out my big nem. He wasnt ready for the tank so now he is being housed in a huge coral frag tank. Being a host for my lightning maroon pair. I also added a few more nasarrius and astreas. I added a few sps to see how they do, but not sure if im going to keep them just yet. Rather let the tank settle down a bit first. I have one photo posted, but ill post some a little more later.
