So, I started up the tank last Saturday, the transfer actually went pretty smoothly. Then I noticed a scratch on the front panel that I panicked and convinced myself might be a crack. Then Lenny spent the night in the return pump chamber. He's back in his hidey-hole now, after some aggravated fishing. I Bought the goby Monday, it's spent most of its time in the rockworck, not as bold as it was at the store yet. I've at least seen it a few times. The tank is still micro bubble city thanks to the skimmer, still working on getting that dialed in.

Anyways, here's some pictures that I took today.

Thank you! I'm jealous of your rfa corner!

I'm loving the tank, feeling like it's what I should have started with to begin with lol.

Edit to add: I took a razor blade to the "scratch"..... It's gone now!

Very pretty coral. Nice upgrade on the tank too!

Thank you! I'm patiently waiting for the Alril coral expo to really fill it up.

True! But I've read that maxi-minis don't play well with them, and have the stronger sting. Maybe if I can find a spot on the opposite side of the tank.

Me too. Feel a little silly over letting myself get so panicked over it lol.

You guys are killing me lol. Maybe if I see one I can't live without in April.

I was getting some r/o at my lfs and saw this little guy in their cheapy frag tank. I think it's a trachy/wellso. Guy at the store said that every now and then they come in attached to the Caribbean live rock, and when there are any that aren't too damaged they break them off and sell them. Apparently they're illegal to collect, even from the farm cultured rock, but if it's attached it can get sent out. It's a little under the size of a half dollar. I think it's got a lot of promise and should turn out great. Picture didn't pick up the red/orange hues on it's rim very well, but here it is!

The 'nem is back..Not exactly where I wanted it, but still not a terrible spot.

That little brain has opened up more, and is a total pig

Speaking of pigs...

Everything's going well, the only issue I'm having is with ongoing microbubbles from the ghost skimmer. It wasn't producing many if any before the move. Yesterday I cleaned the pump and ran it in vinegar, cleaned the air valve. Still producing a ton of bubbles. I'm going to let it go a few days to see if hopefully it just needs to break back in. I might try turning it around in the chamber after that. Or figuring out a way to put a sponge on the return pump.

I stopped at my lfs today and got a Sicce 1.0 to replace the stock return pump. It's a little bit stronger, but I mostly bought it because the stock pump was stupid loud and I couldn't get it to shut up.

I also brought home a yellow watchman goby, I'm hoping round two with a goby goes better. I've had one of these before in the past and it was a good experience.

Here he is! I'm not naming him for a week. lol

Love him! I lost mine when I stupidly painted in the same room. Looking forward to getting another - his A. Randalli shrimp is lonely.

Great pic!

Thank you! That stinks :( Hope you get him a buddy soon! Mine won't be getting a pistol....I like my sand where it is lol

That's a great shot of your YWG!

I appreciate it! I've been messing around with the camera+ app on my iphone. The only downside is the photos are saved as .tif, which my chromebook can't open. I haven't looked for an extension to fix that yet, but uploading them to instagram leaves a .jpg in my camera roll

Got another good picture of the YWG. He's not shy at all now, a bit of a poser actually. Super bold at feeding time too.. Over all a much better fit than the last goby I tried.

My YWG has really become the boss of the tank, primarily because the fish know that hes never far from the pistol.

I love how you've managed to catch his blue spots. I've tried multiple settings on my phone, but cannot get them true to life like you have.

That pump should work but the 1.5 is a great replacement and offers killer flow in the 20. I run the MP10 and a1.5 in mine.

Nice looking fish also.

It helps that he's bigger than all the other guys. My clowns are still little lol. That picture was taken in the camera+ app again, just had it's white balance/exposure/f/s/iso or whatever set to auto. I really like how they've been turning out too, the spots almost look 3D.

I did think about the 1.5, but when I had my 10 set up, I went through 3 different pumps, first an mj1200, then mj600, then down to a sicce micra. The micra was the most comparable to the stock pump, and I preferred it over the other two by far. I'm relying on the mp10 for flow, set to either 4 or 5 on reef crest mode. I just don't want to pull water into the back chambers so quickly that it overflows the baskets.

What baskets? I run the InTank and have no issues with over flowing them.

Well guys, I think I'm going to need to get a new stand soon. I don't think the Brimnes cabinet from Ikea is not going to be a good match long term. The top of the cabinet has begun to sag/bow in the center. I think it's always done it a little, but I'd rather just replace it now.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma here, I don't care for pretty much any specific 'aquarium stands' that I come across, and am having a hell of a time finding something similar to the cabinet I have that's made of wood, and not press board etc. Black or a very dark finish is preferable. I wouldn't mind a drawer or two as long as it has a door/space for my ato bucket.

Any ideas for a replacement or suggestions where to look?

Have a new "high gloss" version of the im 20 stand on the way.

It's supposed to be all around water-proofed and have a better finish than the original, with 'upgraded' hardware like push magnet doors and adjustable shelves. We'll see.
