Basket starfish

In a nutshell, don't even think about it. Extremely difficult, feeding specifically is virtually impossible in normal reef aquariums. They need something close to a NPS tank, and even with that most do not survive long term.

If you do a search for feather starfish care, you'll find a number of articles about them. Realistically they are unsuitable for 99.99% of all home reef aquariums.

+1 to Jestep. There are many beautiful creatures we can keep healthy in our tanks. No need to continue taking fragile ones from the beleaguered reefs that are only going to starve and die.

And good for you, titi59, for researching before you buy!

This animal would be for my nps tank, so even feeding four times a day with different foods and changing the water once a week, it is a waste?

Newstead, I inquire before buying, the proof I ask each species before investire it, so then I just ask questions, that's why I did not buy crinoid or anthogorgia :)

Sorry, I didn't mean to come off as rude, but after working on the retail/wholesale side of the biz, you see the harsh reality of this hobby. Forgive my bluntness.
