steelwrap
Bought a hammer today and it had what looked like a cowrie as as hitchhiker, are they good or bad in a 28 gal nano? Link to comment
JavaJacketOC
Some are fine, some are not reef safe. Try and ID it. If you're concerned or can't find the ID you can isolate it to your sump (if you have one) or get rid of it. Link to comment
steelwrap
Can't figure out how to post pics from phone. But she'll is mostly tan/brown with white around edges Link to comment
hinnenkm
Can you maybe find an image in google to at least identify the one that you have? From the description, it doesn't sound like you have the gold ring cowries, but I know they are excellent inhabitants in a reef tank and take down algae like crazy! Link to comment
