1. 2 HUGE HAIRY MUSHROOMS

Skip the button polyps and get Palythoa grandis instead. Button polyps grow fast to the point of becoming invasive. Palythoa grandis grow slower and are more showy IMO.

Here are mine:

We just happen to have a discussion of everyone's P grandis ongoing on the last page of my Floridian Flower Garden thread.

That's what she said ;)

How about some green nephthea? It may be a little more expensive but it's pretty cool.

^ yes!

You could also get a nice Rock flower Anemone. Pretty hardy and come in awesome colors.

This. Rock Flower Anemones are relatively hardy and come in some really stunning colors. They are kind of pricey though.

What is your budget? Rare and unusual coral can be pricey.

I work at my lfs and get a pretty good discount and pay, so its not rlly the money, i have a reef fund lol XD

The RFA sounds goof KP has a sweet striped one for $30 so i might order that :P

Ricordea florida? They've always fluffed up happily for me, but some people say they melt away (maybe low nutrients?).

Trumpet coral

+1 to the RFAs. So pretty.

Chili coral and a yellow fiji imo. Just be sure to feed the chili coral now and again and hang it upside down in a cave.

Been thinking about a chili, i have a pretty sick spot for one ;)

Corals in the family Euphyllia are generally hardy: Hammer Coral, Torch Coral, Frogspawn, Octospawn, etc. Also Kenya Tree Coral and Colt Coral, if you don't mind something that grows relatively quickly and large. All listed are pretty and hardy imo, great beginner corals.
