How I clean the nuvo back chamber

Hope this helps some folks that had trouble with this. Found a easy and cheap solution

Found this flexible scrubber at the dollar store.

 

1. Drain 2/3 of the back chambers and scrub. A lot of detritus and junk will float around.

2. Use the flexible scrubber to reach the bottom chamber and go at it.

3. Drain the rest of the water

4. Fill the back chamber with water (I used tap water)

5. Drain again and repeat again if you like

6. Refilled back chamber with new salt water

Every 3 to 4 months but depends on your tank. I'm hoping in the future - never - if I can get things under control lol.

Yep, this is something I like to do as well. My second chamber likes to grow nasties on the inner walls. I use a toothbrush, but I may need to pick up a brush like yours. I have spare skimmer brush, maybe Ill use that next time.
