Sad looking bleached zoa polyp

If anyone has been following some of my threads, I have been trying to correct the ways of the reef tanks at work. We have two. one is sick as hell. The other has crappy lights. One bulb dead and the other on its way out.

WIth that said, I caught a zoa/paly that was near the water line and took it out when I took a water sample.

The polyp is creamy white - so quite bleached.

What are the recommendations? It appears to be very grabby. I had it touch a rubble I wanted to glue it to and it grabbed on immediately, so seems to be quite a fighter. Currently it is in a dip furna-2 and revive. mostly to protect my tank from any crap in theirs.

How is the best way to attempt to care for a bleached zoa? I fully understand it could take a while.

Make sure it isn't getting too much light after the move. It's going to be in a bit of a fragile state for awhile until it can heal back up from those conditions. Maybe once it starts opening you can add a bit more food to your water column once or twice a week and let it get some nutrients. If the head/mouth is big enough you may be able to give it a single mysis or something once it seems to be opening up.
