Aiptasia confirmation

Hi all. Had a hitchhiker in some chaeto that migrated from my fuge to the main tank and pretty sure it's aiptasia but wanted to double check. It's the big guy all by its lonesome in a sand bed in the attachments.

Also have two in a second attached picture. One is attached to a piece of live rock in the top right and the other is in the sand bed in the bottom left of the same picture. They look similar to the big guy, but so far neither of those have moved around.

Never actually had aiptasia in my tank before so I wanted to double check before removing. Appreciate it!

yes. for sure. In the sand maybe you can scoop / siphon it out. On the rock I'd blast it with a syringe of boiling water, or fill that hole with super glue. you do not want them to multiply- and they will if allowed to live.

Thanks for the confirmation! Gonna try to scoop the ones in the sand bed out and will likely pull out the one on the rock and scrape it. It's not actually in a hole which should make it easier.
