Im not looking into any of the DIY products because of warranty issues .. Thank you for the opinion though :)

They come assembled so there isn't any diy :)

But really any of the lights you listed are reputable lights kessils seem to be a great bet.

Nanobox is fully assembled and Dave does back his lights.

All that said I know someone selling a few Hydra 26s with rails.....

Personally I would get a 24" ATI. :D

I went from Radions to T5s and love the color changes I saw. Fish are fish. They aren't going to change much. The coral changed drastically in a week/

I just purchased the Nanobox for my 24x24 30g, not sure why you're not considering it as I'd say it is one of the top lights in the hobby ATM. Equipped with the bluefish it is a really awesome combo.

Just saw you are deciding between keeping your lights or not. In that cause I would really look at the ATI hybrid nanobox is doing. A hybrid would be my first choice by far.

i am from canada so with the exchange rate it would be crazy, why is everyone so into nano box though since it is in the same price range as the radion?

Price is much different from the Ecotech line. However the CA dollar is extremely weak so I understand not considering me being in US.

Check out a two bulb DIY T5 kit to attach to your AI lights. Simple and will help to what I think you want.

This! I had a nano box retro in my biocube. I then went to an ATI when I upgraded my tank and missed the color of the NB arrays and the shimmer. However, I will say the growth and coloring of the corals looked great under T5s. So what did I do? I ordered an ATI retro from Dave and honestly, it is one of the best investments I've made in this hobby. it really is the best of both worlds.
