Benteendantley
I just started a 10g reef tank, and bought an elive led light without doing much research on lighting since it was really cheap and seemed nice at the time.(Ive had no problems with it, Ive just read its not good for corals) Im in the process of cycling the tank, and have been looking around for a programmable led fixture. One of the lights i narrowed it down to is the 16" euphotica programmable. http://www.amazon.com/Programmable-LED-Aquarium-Light-Fixture/dp/B00ECHISKQ I tried searching the forums and haven't found much about it. My plan is to eventually upgrade to a 50-75g tank down the road so Im also taking this into consideration. I would like to stay under or around 200$ Link to comment

How high would you suggest the photon be mounted ? Link to comment
mallek
i have the superlux and use the supplied mounting legs, ive never measured but its probably 6-8 inches off the tank. if hanging id just find the height where theres no more over spray of light catching you in the eyes. that really bugs me..
