I'm soon to move my clownfish and firefish into a slightly bigger 65 litre reef tank and plan to strip out the nano cube and start again since it was my first tank and i couldve done a few things better from the start. i'm looking for unusual stocking ideas for it. I've considered pipefish, seahorses (i think the tank is too small unless i get dwarf ones but i think they may be too small), pygmy octopus (would mean modding the tank a bit to stop it escaping and feeding hermit crabs which im not keen on), an eel (im pretty certain my tank is way too small for an eel to live happily) and am open to any ideas for unusual stock :)

You could do a dwarf golden moray. Stays very small and considerably easier than an octopus or horseys. Only real concern is they also need a fairly tight fitting tank, but otherwise easy to feed and great nano fish.

They eat frozen fine, mysis, wild table shrimp, krill. Mine ate pellets on their own as well. They usually don't top 12" but are the thickness of a pencils so even if one rare one got longer than 14 - 16, it is still a very small fish. I've seen a few dozen of them now, including the pair I had, and 24" would be an extremely rare fish.
