Only comes out after water changes and when I stir up sand. That's damn near impossible to identify from the pic. It could be anything from a chalice to a piece of sponge. Is there anyway you can get a clearer pic? Link to comment

Looks dead now, but in daytime even when polyps not extended cavities have green "eyes Haha damn. All that picture does is raise even more questions in my eyes. Now it looks like it could be a potential goniopora. Don't get me wrong, 99% sure that is nothing that could potentially harm your tank but I am super OCD and really wanna know what it is!!! What kind of camera are you using to take pics? We shall get to the bottom of this mystery coral :-) Link to comment
fishhands
I'm on board with that, but I believe you may have just "cursed" me with a challenge. It explains why the sand bed stir coaxes it out and the water changes create a thriving environment. Currently using stock pc lights in 24g nano,Hydor 240, and hydor 300 return pump. Any thoughts or recomendations? Food? Flow? Lights? Link to comment
jamescstein
Where did the rock its on come from? FL Aqua cultured rock? That looks like a tube coral (Cladacora Arbuscula) and its a common hitchhiker on FL/Caribbean liverock. Link to comment
