Jwendt15
I have a 14g biocube that has been setup for 5 weeks. At the advice of my LFS, I used the bioballs with chemipure at the bottom. No basket. After becoming familiar with this site, it looks like a media basket with the filter floss/chemipure/Purigen might be the way to go. I do have 2 clowns, a few snails and Xenia to start. I am wondering how to make that transition from my current setup to the media basket without destabilizing my tank. I've seen on other threads that some people just take out a handful of the bioballs at a time. Any other suggestions? Link to comment
ninjamyst
your tank is new enough that I dont think you need to worry removing the bioball will cause any issues. You also dont have any super difficult livestock to worry about. Link to comment
Jwendt15
Thanks, I figured if I'm going to do it, now is the time. That makes sense. Link to comment
