Hi Dave

 

I sent you some emails without any answer from you so I decided to post here.

 

Could you please tell me what carrier did you use to ship the fixture and if you having a tracking number that I can follow?

 

I'd like to check if the order is under custom analysis.

Yours went out USPS with a INTL Priority. Emailing what I have you with tracking right now as well.

Dave,

 

I got the tracking number and called USPS. They say that they you notified them eletronically but you didn't dropped the package for them yet.

 

It has been more than 1 month, could you please check?

I will go to my local drop off today and see if a package is anywhere. I use a local Pack and Post that is close to my location. The package was dropped off the same day and I will look for the receipt from that day as well.

Daniel,

Showed the reciept to them and they accknowledged it. However it says they are not responsible for packages not done through them. However that I am every day they are looking into it. I am heading back this afternoon and will have an answer.

Just went back today to follow up. We have now put in a trace on the package due to the receipt showing it was checked in.

 

You are coming back in the States this late Feb, I can next day one right over is this does not clear up. USPS and shipping has been a thorn in my side the past 6-8 weeks.

 

Will keep you in the loop in PM's.

Just went back today to follow up. We have now put in a trace on the package due to the receipt showing it was checked in.

None of this surprises me. USPS lost a doser I bought. It showed out for delivery to my place. Then 9 minutes later back to the post office. I called around for over 3 weeks. Spent 5+ hours at the post office. Nothing. It was lost. Nobody could find it. I personally searched bins in the post office. About 5 weeks after shipment it arrived back at the sellers house as "refused." Seems like someone didn't want to deliver it. Really annoying. First time I've ever had an issue with USPS and I've had a few now since then. This was all in November.

I have had some similar issues lately with USPS myself. Ever since November, they have been absolutely terrible.

It has gotten bad. I have had close to 10 packages now. People point the finger and then still nada. Then claiming for insurance is equally a nightmare.

 

The other issue is pricing went up ~10-14% as well. Then to top it off FedEx charging even more for residential packages making it nuts. I may have to re-look at my pricing structure. Being a small guy eating the shipping can be ruff.

Get a UPS account. You seem to do enough shipping where you can get a good discount.

Yikes, this makes me glad I packed up my light to ship to Dave and decided to spend a few bucks more for Fedex and insurance instead of using USPS.

that just crazy how they will not accept any responsibility for keeping track of the shipment and yet still charging you more for it esp if you already paid for the insurance. that just bad business sorry you have to deal with that
