Just looking for some examples of relatively easy to care for corals that would do well with the stock lighting in a biocube 29. Thanks!

In addition to mushrooms, I have euphyllia in my 29 - frogspawn, hammer and torch - doing well under stock lighting. They are in the middle and top of the rock scape. An acan on a rock in the sand has doubled in size in a few months, but I do target feed it, along with a sun coral, 5 to 6 times a week.

Duncans (you will need to target feed),torch, frogspawn, star polyps, clove polyps, acans, war coral(favia),and turbinara(pagoda ). I have had these in my BC14 under stock lighting and all have done well. Water quality is as important as lighting.

I have had a duncan, zoanthids, muchrooms, ricordea, acans, frogspawn, an open brain, and a rock flower nem in my 29 for over a year. You can check out my thread to see pics of how they're doing. I'm upgrading soon to the nanobox retro, because I want to see more colors, and be able to keep sps/clams.

Most LPS would do fine as well as almost all soft coral.

Duncan

Euphyllia Species

Xenia

Zoanthids

Clove Polyps

Green Star Polyps

Mushrooms

These are all easy to care for as well

Thanks for all of the responses guys! To start, i got two small zoa frags, a green star polyp, and a little pom pom xenia. I'll definitely look into adding some more that you guys mentioned down the road.
