Tlonghorn
I have a 12g nano with 11 pounds of live rock and am really itching to get more life than amphipods and bristleworms in the tank my water is at: SG: 1.023 Temp:79-80 Ph:8.2 Nitrites: undetectable Ammonia: undetectable Nitrates: 20 ppm So my question is would it be OK to add a pistol shrimp and some aestrae (or trochus if my lfs has them) and cerith snails tomorrow Link to comment
ajmckay
We can't really say 100% yes or no because we don't know everything about your tank. It's kind of a judgement call. If you used quality live rock and it's been in your tank at least a few days to a few weeks then I would say you should be good to go. As long as you trust your test kits are accurate. You might be able to get the LFS to test as well to confirm the results. If you added live rock last night or something I would say give it a few more days. Good luck! Link to comment
