AForys
Has anyone used a jbj28 as a sump? With the rear compartments intact? Was thinking of using it as a sump for a 30g long. Was wanting to use 2x mj1200's as the return pumps (inside rear chambers) and maybe a small filter sock holder inside of jbj. I would be drilling 3 holes in the dt 2 for returns. What size bulkheads? Would the 2x mjs be enough? How would I connect mjs to bulkheads? A lot of questions, I know but I've never ran a sump. Trying to wrap my head around it! Will also be a display fuge, so minimal equipment in the jbj is preferred that's why I want to keep the compartments intact. Link to comment

AForys
I think it would make a nice display fuge! The filter sock would be a added bonus. I would keep the media rack with filter floss as well! If i figure this out keep you posted! Link to comment

AForys
Personally, I have my mind set on a mandarin and I want a big enough fuge to maintain enough pods. My tank is flooding with them now but I know a mandarin will deplet it fast! Horsies would be nice but they'll eat my pods! So was thinking some sexy shrimp! And a load of macro Link to comment
