Spread?

Edit: 18" cube is what the site says.

18" cube would be a good estimate for higher light corals, that's about what you can do with 50watts of LEDs.

So two would be great for a 40 breeder?

Definitely, you can sit them over each half of the tank using the tank mount.

Does this come with 120° optics, and how tall is the light mount?

They come with 90 degree optics, the tank mount is about 8", it will sit the light around 5-6" off of the water.

That is MUCH too close for 90 degree optics IMHO. If people use the tank mount, I would recommend them to take off the optics.

They get good spread, and the light dims to practically nothing, so with proper programming corals should not get burnt. The optics can be removed or replaced with 120 degree optics.

would 1 of these be enough for a 28G Bio-Cube ?

At a little over 20" square you should be okay for a mixed reef. That or the SuperLux/Photon16/value fixture for an sps heavy system.

I do have a question - maybe you can help - or direct me?!  I started with the lps setting and tweaked it down by half % and then backed sunset up two hours - and only 3% one blue overnight.  I want to be sure that I have my green, red, violet up as high as I should in addition to the blues and whites. Do you by chance know of any guide or is there a rule of thumb re: what colors? How high %?  This is all Greek to me! Lol!

There isn't really a set percentage, but as a rule of thumb I always do more violet, cool blue, and royal blue than whites, and go pretty low on the reds and greens.

Looks like a good starting point! Add about 10% next week and see how your tank reacts.

I freaking love mine!!  I'll try to remember to get some pics tomorrow - it's off for the evening - programming is a challenge at first but I could never live without this light now!  I don't have to touch anything - I wake up and my tank is already starting sunrise - you truly have absolute control over EVERYTHING! ????????
