Droy008
Wow that came out great! I am loving the add on AIO units that Ocean Box Design is putting out, solid stuff! Link to comment
teenyreef
I'd wait a day. Are you running carbon? That will help get rid of anything still in the water. Link to comment
Reefer69
So i held off lol. I can run carbon but i usually just run chemi pure elite normally. No smell this morning when i left for work and at 6:00pm tonight it will be about 48hours cure time. LETS GET WET!!!! Link to comment
Reefer69
Probably should specify whats in there too. Then AIO insert from Ocean bOx Designs. Preforms as good as it looks. Truly cannot be happier with the product Phoung created. This was just a wet run with nothing but pump and a few heaters to get water to matching temp for transfer. Sounds loud in this because there is no filter floss. Its all set up now and is dead silent. Pump is Eheim Compact 1000 at full flow. (264GPH) There is some serious movement in this tank now that i have added my Rw-4. the video only shows return pump flow. Will post more pics today when i get home. So far it only looks like one of my miles bleached, but that was early and the lights were not on. Deff saw white that wasnt there before though . All in all it took about 3 hours to move everything including the time it took to heat up the water. Link to comment
Reefer69
New FTS Note the one loss. The bleached milli on the middle right. Happened overnight while everyone else is looking better by the day. My Scoly. Sand bottom looks awesome under lighting. Goby chilling with the monti. Link to comment

Reefer69
Update 3/17/16 Tank is still kicking. Ordered some dosing equipment as I'm losing around .5 dkh per day in alk. Got the Jebao DP-4 along Eshopps dosing container. For ALK and CAL i will be using ME Coral supplements. They use lab grade quality sodium carbonate, and apparently mixes super pure. Sorry for the shitty pics. Still can't get this blue balance correct. Everything growing really nicely. Such great growth on this guy. Was that small button in the center when i bought it. Goth these next 2 for real cheap. Starting to color up. No name and a Forest Fire Digi. No green on tips yet but bright red. Starting to encrust on rock! My fav. Starbusrt monti from the LC live sale. Was white when i purchased. Starting to show red base and green on tips. Looks like the SSC it ws next too. Snagged for $10 and i think this will be a showpiece some day. Link to comment
Reefer69
Dosing equipment arrived. Jebao Dp-4 Eshopps 2.0 L container Waiting on my alk and ca to come in. More pics to come. Link to comment
Reefer69
Set up doser and tubing yesterday. It was actually very easy after calibrating. I used a 100ml graduated cylinder. ME Coral products mixed super clear. I was very surprised with how much of the powder you actually have to mix. Also snagged some their amino acid only for the fact it doesn't need to be refrigerated. That means i can use it in the dosing pump. I used rigid airline tubing and a breather hole drilled in. Hooked it up to doser. So now I'm running alk, ca, and amino. Going to be ordering Magnesium once i get and accurate reading on consumption. More pics to come. Corals are already liking the constant supply of alk! Sweet tank, great job. Thank you! Link to comment
Reefer69
Finally got some decent photos of the corals using my shooting glasses . Its really pretty true to color but you can definitely see where washed out or over saturated. This will probably as close as i can get. First off I've been dosing the ME Coral supplements, and i must say they are amazing. Im sure any dosing regime would have shown more growth but i like how this mixes and their amino acid blend. Full Tank This guy is growing super fast. Sold tome as rainbow. Mostly grayish purple with red polyps Now this is a rainbow monti Sunburst Sunburst and acro that never had a name. This thing is taking off. Frag Rack Blasto Mountain This beauty will be joining soon. (2 babies included ) Sweet Favia Babys Breath. More blue and yellow in real life. Acan Alley Dosing has really improved my tank so far. Im starting to get coraline growth which i never really had before. Once again. More pics to come Link to comment
Dylan.N
This is a great build. Love the upgrade and love the AIO insert. When I move (probably years from now) and have more room, I'm going to turn my tank into a peninsula and get that AIO insert. Link to comment

Reefer69
Just thought i would share this bit of information. i recently removed a grapefruit ball sized chunk of xenia. It was thriving and growing wonderfully, just getting too big for my tank. 2 days after removal I am noticing a dusting of algae on the front glass. Did some test and sure enough nitrate and phosphate wen up .05 ppm or so. When people say xenia thrive in dirtier water, they are correct! Couldn't believe it made that big of a difference. Reefer69
FTS 6/9/16 Nothing much has changed. Dosing regime and ATO have kept this thing stable and running by itself. My biggest challenge has been the balance of nutrients. When the across start looking really good, the LPS suffer. When the LPS look good, the across brown. Im finally starting to get that mixed reef balance. All pics taken with orange safety glasses. I run my lights really blue so its the only way to see somewhat of a color accuracy. These are very yellow heavy though. Sweet pick up. Will sell for $7000 a polyp Link to comment
