gnubbs
March 2016: November 2015: After about 4 years without a tank, I have decided to try my hands at a pico tank. The goal is to keep this simple - live rock, some filter floss, and water changes. We will see how that goes... Luckily, I have a bunch of equipment from my old tank. I had planned on getting either a Nanobox or a Kessil 160 - but saw too good of a deal on the full spectrum Celestial to pass up. Equipment: Cad Lights 4 gallon AIO Reef Keeper Light 50w Neo Therm heater Modified MP10 Maxspect Celestial 35w Aqualifter w/RKL for ATO Filtration: 3 lbs of live rock Filter floss Chemicals: ESV Salt Mix Inverts: Emerald Crab (2x) Spiny Star Astrea Snail Nassarius Snail Coral: Encrusting Gonioporia Acans Darth Maul Paly No-name Green Zoas Fire and Ice Zoas Mods: Tank - I covered the original return location and moved it up a few inches. MP10 - I used my dremel to cut down the size of the impeller by about 1/3. This allows me to run it at around 40% instead of 10% in this tank. Link to comment
Nanofreak79
Another Cad 4 gallon. Nice start to the tank. Im interested in the celestial led and its colors/operation. Link to comment
gnubbs
Updated with new (poorly taken) photos and livestock. Taking this tank really slow - but will be adding a goby of some sort soon. Link to comment
