milkis
Currently I have a bio cube 29 that I've been running for about 3 years. For the past 2 years I didn't take much care of it but recently I decided to rebuild that tank with new light, filter media, and protein skimmer. For the biocube 29 I have: AI prime Aquaticlife mini internal skimmer Live rocks Live sands A few hermit crabs Few snails Coral banded shrimp Emeral crab 2 clowns 1 clown goby Frogspawn Gsp Zoan Blastomussa Wellsi But an new idea has emerge since my gf is getting me a new tank for early Christmas present: which is the IM 30L. Also dude to Black Friday sale on BRS I got a bunch of new and upgraded goodies that I will put into this new build. I will be transferring over the live stocks and the live rocks from the biocube over but also adding some more. I'm still in the learning process of reefing. Any comments or recommendations will help a bunch. Here's the list of equipments I will use for the new tank: IM 30L: Roughly 30lbs live rocks Crushed coral for the sand bed AI prime I'm reusing from the biocube but will be ordering another one Tunze skimmer 9001 Tunze osmolator ATO 3152 BRS gfo and carbon reactor Aqueon 100w heater Tunze turbelle nanostream 6015(475 gph) And will eventually upgrade the filter media basket Now my question is can I mount the BRS reactor below the tank inside the cabinet? Or does it have to level with the tank? This is my first time using a reactor. I'll mostly have LPS and soft corals that's why I'm using AI prime lighting and I like the convience of the wifi app. Here's a few a pic of the current biocube. Link to comment
milkis
Finally got all my equipments and tank 2 weeks ago. Finished the stand and assembled everything, then transferred over my fish and live stocks. But I need to find a different skimmer since the tunze 9001 I ordered did not fit in the rear compartments of the tank. So I'm using my aquaticlife skimmer I had in my bc29. Yes I know I need to upgrade my lighting and that will be done soon. I've spent way too much already. This light will suffix for now. Link to comment
