Which skimmer for my 40b?

I have about 50gal of total water volume and aiming for heavy stocking sps tank.

I am reading oversizing too much is just a waste of money with no other benefits.

 

Would the RO 152-s be a great choice?

I'd get the smaller one. How much reefing experience do you have? The trick with an oversize skimmer is making sure you feed a lot, otherwise the tank will end up being too clean. IMO.

Wait, why are you retiring the 60? I see back in February you discovered the feeding issue and the acros look great IMO.

Moving house and it's too big to move and I can't afford a bigger tank for a few years...

But in the mean time I can get a solid 40b and in the long run maybe make it a frag tank.
