Just set up an 8g nano. Debating whether to put fish in it.

In my 70g im currently dosing Fuel. Would a clean up crew and dosing fuel be enough to sustain coral growth? (of course keeping up with good parameters)

don't know about dosing fuel, never used it. Should be good to go without fish and a clean up crew. I have a 20g with no fish, a sallylightfoot crab, blue leg hermits, urchin, turbo snail and a bunch of pods. There's some euphyllia , chalice, lobo, zoas, mini maxi, xenia on glass all growing fine. I use the tank for a QT for new corals, maricultured sps colonies have done well in it too. Plus the cleanup crew gets to eat good with all the crud that comes in on the corals base

Absolutely, you don't need fish. Personally they're just pleasure to the eye and make the tank more "natural". I haven't had fish since my first tank almost 8 years ago. My last nano before I moved was too small for most fish (2 gallons) and I didn't even have a clean up crew, besides my hand and a tooth brush lol.
