smeagol108
It's definitely not dead but it ain't thriving. Normally they will be inflated have tentacles out. Link to comment
Pinner Reef
How long have you had it? How deep is the tank it's in? Link to comment
markalot
I think it looks fine, just upset. Edges look good and not broken so keep it that way and make sure not to scoot it around in the sand. Make sure it's not in too bright of light and remember you can feed it. My green with orange mouth plate looked bad for the first month or so but is very hardy, Link to comment
lobster876
i got it saturday night and its roughly 1 1/2 foot from the light Link to comment
Pinner Reef
Yeah, in that case it's probably still acclimating to it's new home. Let it be, and it should start showing improvement within the nest week. Just as long at the flesh doesn't start peeling it's probably ok. Link to comment
spectra
Feed it........drop a little food on it and see what happens. I feed mine almost every other day. Link to comment
lobster876
I fially figured out why it was unhappy. My enigneer goby had dug a tunnel next to it and got sand on it Link to comment
jamescstein
Sand sifters are like that. If you can't find a place away from where the engineer lives you might not be able to keep that coral. I had a trio of engineers 10 years ago. Neat fish, but they get huge and will redesign your tank overnight. Link to comment
