KevinM
Hi, Any tips on getting a clownfish to stop hosting one of my torch corals? The tank is pretty jammed packed, so there isn't much in terms of free area to move the torch. No room to add an anemone. They have always ignored my octospawn, hammer and frogspawn. Torch looks great but I've heard of clowns damaging and eventually killing torches. Anyone have clowns hosting torches with no issues? Should I just ignore it? Link to comment
ReefSafeSolutions
I'd just leave it alone until you start to see issues...I had one clown that would hang out in a hairy mushroom and the mushroom didn't have any issues. But then the other clown started messing around with it and chomping on it's little green hairs and the mushroom never opened up past the size of a dime. I tried putting netting over the mushroom, moving the mushroom...nothing stopped the clown. So I eventually had to pull the shroom out and put it in my dad's tank so it would recover. Then the stupid clown starting chomping on my frogspawn, so the little devil went back to the fish store... Link to comment
