TFish77
4 baffles all cut the same size. 1 in the front 3 towards the back. Gimme a few hours and I will take some pics of the one I just finished building for a friend. Super easy. Actually did it in a 40 breeder too. Link to comment
badwhiskey
I'm thinking just a overflow into a display refugium...then pumped back into display? Link to comment
TFish77
So I cut four baffles our of acryllic, each equal size. The drain comes in on the left side and the return is on the right. Just remember the height of the final baffle will be the water level in the sump so keep that in mind for your skimmer. Link to comment
Halo_003
Just a heads up I would think that's a flood risk with the water level so high in the sump. Link to comment
TFish77
Just a heads up I would think that's a flood risk with the water level so high in the sump. Nope. Notice the "max line" on the side of the sump. I always power fail check every system. If the power were to fail on this system the water would fill to .5" from the top. Most of the time I would have left the baffles and the water a little lower but the skimmer will be external so I wanted the max water volume possible. Link to comment
