Legendary Corals

Hello fellow reefers,

LC here with our last live sale of the year. This sale is going to be awesome, with 500+ corals and EVERYTHING at $20 and below. Yup, that's right. A < $20 live sale. Prices will range from $1-$20, and we'll be sure to include a bit of everything (even a couple of really high end goodies... ;) ).

The Legendary Live Sale RULES (Rules may change at anytime. By participating in this live sale you will automatically agree to the following rules):

  • WHEN: Date: 10:00am - 4:00pm (PST) on Saturday, November 28th
  • CORALS: 500+ Pure WYSIWYG Corals, posted in 5 minute intervals in between (roughly 6 corals per update).
  • All corals will be added to our website along with the thread that has a link to the site. Look under the "Live Sale" tab of our site. The tab will be broken up into tabs indicating which hour the corals came from (it will make sense when you view the site the day of the sale).
  • Snipers be ready! All corals are heavily discounted from their already awesome prices. There will be a handful of $5 corals and an even smaller handful of $1 corals! And you all know we like to keep only the nice stuff around. ;)
  • For $5 corals, you must have purchased at least ONE regular live sale item for each $5 coral you snipe. For $1 corals, you must have purchased at least TWO regular live sale item for each $1 coral you snipe. This is how we're going to ensure that enough people have chances to snipe on these deals instead of having just a few people take them all and leave the rest empty handed.
  • If you pick up a $5 or $1 coral without fulfilling the requirement during the sale, you are allowed to keep your snipes as long as you purchase the necessary # of corals at the end of the sale. For example, if you have 2 regular live sale items and a $1 coral already and another $1 coral comes up, you can snipe it. Later on in the live sale, you pick up 2 more regular live sale items, fulfilling your requirement to keep the $1 item.
  • If you do not fulfill the requirement by Saturday, November 28th 6:00pm PST, you will forfeit your $1 and $5 corals that did not fulfill the requirement and the $1 and $5 that were forfeited will be posted back on the site for others to grab. Those who grab the special deal pieces will need to fulfill the requirement as well. If your order does not fulfill the requirement after the $1 and $5 pieces are put back up, then you will automatically forfeit the corals.
  • All remaining corals that are not picked up on the live sale will be left at live sale prices until Monday, November 30th 11:59pm PST. Afterwards, they will be full priced items.
  • Under the rare case that the coral is not well to ship, you will receive a similar piece if in stock. If no coral is in stock, then we will refund you.
  • PAYMENT: PayPal only, first come first served.
  • ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No exchanges, refunds, etc. No credit or coupons can be applied.
  • Your item is NOT yours until it's payed for. If it's in your cart, it isn't safe from other reefers!
  • If for some reason you and someone else got the same coral, the first person to check out will win the coral and we will notify you if we have a similar item we can offer.
  • SHIPPING: During the live sale, the automatic shipping fee will be waived. Instead, under the "SHIPPING DATES" tab, choose a date to have your package sent out for a flat fee of $50 (free at $350).
  • Prepaid Shipping is $30 until November 27th (day before the live sale). On the day of the event, the full shipping price will resume. If your order reaches $350, we will refund you the $30. Prepaid Shipping modules may be purchased here: http://www.legendary-corals.com/#!live-sale-shipping/c1ua8
  • We will ONLY ship to the address on your PayPal. So please have this updated on your account to avoid any confusion.
  • Because we're awesome, we'll allow combined shipments. Just let us know at the end of the sale who else needs to go into your box.
  • If no shipment date has been requested by Sunday (November 29th) we will be shipping your package out the following Monday (November 30th) by default.
  • If you do not pay for shipping by the end of the week (November 29th, 11:59pm PST) you will be forfeiting your corals and your payment for your purchased corals will not be refunded.
  • FAQs: For our FAQs, please visit this link: http://www.legendary...dary-faqs/c1bp8
  • PRIZE: Since this will be our last sale of the year, we're going to be giving 5 prizes this time!
  • To be eligible, you must check in every hour and have made a purchase. You simply need to post "Check in hour #" for each hour. If you miss an hour, you will be disqualified for the prize.
  • However, if you checked in every hour but didn't win a prize we'll add a $50 coupon via PM as a thank you for staying with us the whole time! Coupons must be used within a month and on orders of at least $100.
  • We will pick the three winners via a brown goody bag, which will be filmed! Each item you purchase (except $1 and $5 corals) will count towards a ticket. So if you purchase 5 items, you will have 5 tickets. We'll let the winners choose their prize in the order that they are pulled from the bag. For example: 1st winner gets first pick, 2nd winner gets 2nd pick, and 3rd winner and 3rd pick.

My tank is so full of corals, but Legendary Corals are the best corals I've ever gotten online. It really is WYSIWYG. The colors and everything are pretty spot on to what you see on the website even with my LED lights set at 14k color temp. It's usually hard to shop online because some vendors take pictures under actinic lighting or alter their photos to make colors pop. I've never had this issue with LC. All my corals from them were just as impressive when I received them.

Even though I'm running out of space, I think I'm going to tune in for this sale.

Hey LC, I am located in the East Bay Area (Danville/ Walnut Creek area). Is the meetup location only in San Jose? It is great that you guys are located in SJ, most online reef vendors are East/ Southeast!

Oooh. I think these are new? What are these called?

Yup, they are new indeed! They're called Boku no Picos, our member Alvin named them.

My wallet still hasn't recovered from the last Live Sale. You're evil, Darwin :)

Haha it's the last one for the year, I swear! At least this one everything is below $20.

I need dis.

But also it'll be my first live sale so I'm a bit worried.

Our live sales are pretty easy to participate in. Just click on the photo to be sent to the item on our site. Complete the process via paypal and boom, you're done!

Of course the one day I have a wedding to go to :(

Mobile is always an option. ;)

Ahh must have :(

Is California shipping being used during the live sale?

Don't be sad, there will be a couple frags of the rainbow hornet. Good amount of chances for everyone!

Yes, there will be CA shipping during the live sale. It's currently at only $20 for pre-sale shipping modules. Once the sale starts, it will go back to $25.

Thanks for the compliment! We try our best to make our photos as accurate as possible. Hopefully we'll see you during the sale.

Yup, meet ups are only in San Jose! A lot of coral peeps are around the bay area, so it is indeed nice to be located here.

Paypal?! I'm not going to be able to control myself. Maybe I'll be too slow and the snipers will stop me from going broke..

I wish! In the wedding party and on the east coast. Hopefully you will have another one of those epic Zoa packs in the future I can jump on.

Me looking at my tank: "Man I really need to get all these zoa's I bought from that Legendary Coral sale off of their frag plugs and onto the rockwork now that they are all growing out... I wonder if they will have another sale.."

(Goes on Nano-Reef)

Son of a b****.. time to spend more money.

Yup - live in the same area. $20 shipping for bay area residents, super cheap.

Question about the 1$ & 5$ items. If you are to purchase 2 regular price items will that give you access to one 1$ AND two 5$ items? Or would it give you access to one and not the other?

Ok I have never participated in one of these live sales, and i am having trouble understanding exactly how it works. Let me know if i have it right.

1. I pay $30 for shipping on the website now. - you remember

2. On Saturday you will post about 6 corals every 5 min

3. If I like one of these corals I add it to my cart and check out one piece at a time.

4. After its all over you ship everything i bought on saturday to me.

questions

1. After a coral is sold does it get removed from the website so i don't click on it, go to checkout, and get angry when its sold out?

2. If i pay $30 for shipping now and come the day of the live sale i don't end up ordering anything, does that $30 get refunded.

sorry for all the questions, i want to be prepared, and this is different for me.

Good question! One regular item will be needed for one $5 item. Two regular items will be needed for one $1 item. So if you'd like both, it's 3 items total.

No worries, ask as many questions as you like. We want to make sure that there's no confusion when the sale starts.

You have everything correct. Choose a shipping module from the site for $30 and we'll put you into our list of people who pre-ordered a shipping module. Your box of awesome will be shipped on the day that you chose. If you don't pick up anything during the sale, just contact us via email and we'll refund you. There's pretty much no reason to not pick up a shipping module early.

We're planning on uploading 6 pieces every 5 minutes. Pieces are automatically taken off the site when they are purchased so you'll have an easy way of knowing what's still available.

I'm tempted to participate in this, but I want to make sure I understand.

Is it possible to check out without paying for shipping and then pay for shipping at a later time in a separate transaction?

Because if adding the coral to the cart doesn't make it mine, and checkout is required to claim it, then I would need to potentially do several or many different checkout transactions as I find corals I want.

So, obviously having to pay for shipping each time is a problem.

Thanks.

Yup, that's how the sale works! Shipping is waived during the live sale so you don't have to worry about paying for shipping each time. Just make sure to purchase a shipping module before the sale is over. They're only $30 right now, and $50 once the sale starts. So if you plan on participating, it's better to purchase the module early. If you don't end up participating, we'll refund you the shipping module. :)

Any inverts? And is this mostly zoas?

The only non-coral things that will appear in the live sale is a baby rose bubbletip and photosynthetic sponges. Everything else is pretty much mixed with the exception of sticks. We have a pretty good variety of lps and softies we'll be putting up during the sale. Anything in particular you're looking for?

I wish this was Canadian friendly :(

Sorry. We wish we could ship to Canada as well.

Nice. Was looking for a potential rose bubbletip anemone and some lps. Hammers, torches, acans and chalices. So any sps and just not acropora like montis and stylo?
